7-4 Math, do the daily math from Thursday and do 5 more questions from your subtracting fractions sheet.
Grade 8s, your re-test for "ouvre la tĂȘte" is tomorrow at noon.
Grade 9s, mets les mots en ordre is due Tuesday.
As always, read the French play too.

Math 7-4

Please do Thursdays daily math for homework before Friday, it's another short  week and I want you to be prepared for Friday.
I knwo some of your are waiting for your test, (either to finish or start), I hope to be there Friday so we can finish.
Some of those textbook questions are tough, help each other, and work through them. Yes you have to show your work on a piece of loose leaf.

Tests

8-3 and 8-4 have written their "ouvre la tete" test.
Most of 7-4 have finished their fraction test.  I will give more time for those who need it.
The marks have been posted for the students that finished.
8-5 your test will be soon.

Gr 7-9, read the play.

Ouvre la tete routine

Here is a copy of the routine we say at the start of class, there might be a written assessment of how students can write it out.  Hint Hint.  This quiz will be after Thanksgiving. 

Oct 3 Homework

Gr 8/9 French, read the story.
7-4 math  Answer the question 4/5 + 6/10.  You must explain all the steps of how you got the answer using the vocab we have used in class.  You can videotape your answer and email it to me at ssteinhoff@lssd.ca or you can come to my room at noon tomorrow and you can explain it to me.  Remember the answer is important, the explanation of how you go the answer is as important.
